These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Goodminton mobile application ("the app"), built by Goodminton Club ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Goodminton is a badminton tracking application for logging matches, rackets, strings, and related play data, and for personal performance tracking. The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
Data you enter (matches, rackets, strings, notes, scouting sheets) is stored locally on your device and belongs to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for backing up or exporting your data; uninstalling the app or resetting your device may permanently delete on-device data. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app except as permitted by law; (b) use the app for any unlawful purpose; (c) attempt to disrupt or compromise the app's integrity or security; (d) misuse any sharing feature to distribute content you do not have the right to share.
The app lets you share match and scouting data via files, QR codes, or links. You are solely responsible for any data you choose to share and with whom. Shared data is transmitted as you direct it; we do not host or retain shared content on a server unless explicitly stated.
The app may offer optional paid features. Any purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) under their respective terms; billing, renewals, and refunds are governed by those platforms. Free-tier features are provided as-is and may change.
The app, its design, artwork, lore, and branding are owned by Goodminton Club and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or content beyond personal use of the app.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Performance insights are informational and not professional coaching or medical advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Goodminton Club shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app.
We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date will change and material changes will be noted in the app's changelog. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Goodminton Club operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
