This page explains how to delete your Goodminton account and the data associated with it. Goodminton is a badminton tracking application built by Goodminton Club.
Most of your data — rackets, strings, tensions, matches, training logs, and progress — is stored only on your device and never leaves it. You can erase it at any time from within the app:
If you created a social account (used for friends, play groups, tournaments, and compliments), some social-graph data is stored on our servers. To request deletion of your social account and all associated server-side data:
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| On-device data (rackets, strings, matches, logs, XP, cards) | Deleted immediately when you use "Delete all local data" in the app. We never receive this data. |
| Social account (profile, display name, handle, email) | Deleted on request within 30 days. |
| Friend connections, compliments, play-group memberships | Deleted with your social account. |
| Anonymous analytics (PostHog) & crash reports (Sentry) | Anonymous and not linked to your identity; aggregated diagnostic data may be retained for service operation and is not personally identifiable. |
| Purchase records (Google Play / RevenueCat) | Retained as required for financial, tax, and refund-compliance purposes; managed through your Google Play account. |
Social account-deletion requests are completed within 30 days. On-device data is removed immediately when you delete it in the app. Anonymous, non-identifiable diagnostic and purchase-compliance records may be retained as described above.
