Delete Your Account & Data

Last updated: 2026-06-22

This page explains how to delete your Goodminton account and the data associated with it. Goodminton is a badminton tracking application built by Goodminton Club.

How to delete your data in the app

Most of your data — rackets, strings, tensions, matches, training logs, and progress — is stored only on your device and never leaves it. You can erase it at any time from within the app:

  1. Open Goodminton on your phone.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap "Delete all local data" to permanently remove every racket, log, session, and break stored on the device, or use "Erase & start over" on the sign-in screen to reset your account and local data.
  4. Confirm when prompted. This cannot be undone.

How to delete your social account & server data

If you created a social account (used for friends, play groups, tournaments, and compliments), some social-graph data is stored on our servers. To request deletion of your social account and all associated server-side data:

  1. Email kevinliu217@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account.
  2. Use the subject line "Delete my account".
  3. We will verify your identity and permanently delete your social account and associated data within 30 days, and confirm by email.
You do not need to delete your account to remove your on-device data — the in-app "Delete all local data" option above works independently and is available without an account.
